Two tent frames erected with a difference of at least 15cm to 22cm in height. Their distance apart depends on the size of the fly, but would be about 100cm to 130cm. The fly is pulled well down to the ground on the weather side, then over the lower frame, then over the higher frame and guy out the remaining canvas. Fly ropes on the high side may have to be temporarily lengthened with additional short pieces of rope. Face the high side into some natural protection such as a bank, if available and/or required.  This would not be satisfactory with a fly smaller than 427cm x 427cm.
